The ElectroChipDiscoPop EP has been inspired by many people, many styles, many video games. From the landscapes of Minecraft to the vectors of Another World, from the chips sounds to the disco beats, from french electro hero Toxic Avenger to japanese awesome artist and singer Julie Watai, I tried to throw a bridge between all these influences in order to look for the future of pop music.
Each track has been co-produced with Olivier Dax from legendary french electro funk band Dax Riders. Bringing chip music to people like him is a great achievement to me.
All the visuals have been made using the Another World editor, programmed by Eric Chahi for his acclaimed game Another World in 1991, with his authorization.
ElectroChipDiscoPop has been successfully funded via Kickstarter, thank you to everyone that has participated in the adventure.
